Thermal Leak Detection in Hyderabad: What the Scan Can and Cannot Show

Thermal leak detection in Hyderabad is useful when water is travelling and the stain is lying. It is less useful when the crack is open on the terrace and you can see the pond. We use a camera as one tool in a written diagnosis, not as theatre in a quotation.

What the camera actually measures

Infrared cameras see surface temperature. Moisture often cools a patch of plaster, tile or screed relative to the dry field around it. That cold path is a clue: water may be behind or under that surface. It is not an X-ray of a pipe, and it is not proof that a concealed line has burst.

When we bring it to a Hyderabad job

• The ceiling stain is metres from any obvious terrace crack or bathroom.

• A previous repair already failed and you do not want to break the wrong tiles.
• A damp smell with no visible wet patch.
